2026 Art Sailing Guangzhou Internship Programme for Hong Kong University Students

The Art Sailing Internship Programme for Hong Kong University Students is organised by Art Sailing Culture Association in collaboration with Saint Francis University, Lingnan University and Jinan University, and funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau. Open to full-time university students aged 18 to 30 holding a Hong Kong identity card, it offers valuable internship placements in Guangzhou, Wuhan and Zhuhai. The organiser handles screening, interviews and placement, matching participants to suitable corporate roles according to their background and interests.
Placement organisations included China Life Guangzhou Branch, China Guangfa Bank, Bank of Communications Guangdong Provincial Branch, Guangdong Radio and Television, Guangzhou Times Holdings Group, Lai Fung Holdings, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Yuntai Scenic Area Management Centre, Guangzhou Education Industrial Co. and Guangxingli (Guangdong) Health Industry Co., among others.
During the internship the Association arranged a series of social practice activities so that students could gain workplace experience while taking in the Greater Bay Area’s dynamism and cultural depth. These included an innovation and entrepreneurship consultation session, where Greater Bay Area founders shared first-hand experience and answered students’ questions face to face, stimulating creative thinking; a visit to the Overseas Chinese Museum tracing the endeavours of earlier generations and fostering a sense of national belonging; a trip to the Guangzhou Automobile Science and Technology Museum for a close-up look at smart manufacturing and technological innovation; and a visit to Nansha Chuangxiang Bay to learn about the youth entrepreneurship ecosystem and development opportunities supported by national policy. Through these varied hands-on experiences, students broadened their horizons, gained a deeper understanding of the nation’s development, and truly immersed themselves in the life and culture of the Greater Bay Area.
